Marshall County Superintendent Jason Peters and Board of Commissioners President Stan Klotz requested $532,591.80 to fund paving of 7th Road (Fir Road to State Road 331) and 12B Road (US 30 to County Line Road). Council members debated whether to perform the work in-house or hire a contractor, then approved the appropriation on a 5-2 roll-call vote (Schadek and Harman opposed).
