OPWDD outlines RFP schedule for new family support services contracts
OPWDD told the committee it has nearly finalized RFP materials and intends to: identify scoring early March, release RFP late March–early April, accept bidder questions mid-April, train evaluators mid–late April, receive proposals early–mid May, evaluate in mid–late May and make tentative awards in early August with contracts starting roughly 90 days after tentative awards.

Nick Hobson presented the agency's multistep timeline for release and evaluation of new RFPs for family support services. He said OPWDD is "looking to have scores for the RFP identified by early March," expects to release the RFP in late March to early April, set a mid-April deadline for bidder questions, provide evaluator training mid to late April, set proposals due early to mid-May, begin evaluations mid to late May, and identify tentative awards in early August with anticipated contract start dates roughly 90 days after tentative awards.
