Local students describe hands-on summer program at Riverside; commissioners present certificates

Students who completed a county-run summer exploration program spoke briefly about what they learned at Riverside, describing activities in wound care, physical therapy, recreation and dietary services. Jacob said the program "taught me a lot about, like, taking care of people" and said the experience helped toward his goal of becoming a veterinarian by improving his understanding of care.
