At the 10:45 A.M. preliminary budget hearing for the county’s 2027 budget, commissioners reviewed departmental budget drafts and heard from Briselda Hernandez of the Job Development Authority (JDA). Hernandez updated the board and recommended an additional $5 million in General Fund support for the JDA.
