Iowa Park discusses board vacancies and appoints Nortex proxy delegates
City Manager reported a vacancy on the Community Development Corporation after the president resigned; Planning & Zoning member David Padgett is retiring but will remain until replaced. Council appointed Jerry Flemming and Randall Barker as proxy voting delegates to the Nortex Regional Planning Commission.

City Manager Jerry Flemming informed the council of several vacancies: the Community Development Corporation had a vacancy after Dolores Hamilton resigned; Planning & Zoning Commissioner David Padgett said he will retire but remain until a replacement is found; another commission member has not attended meetings for several years. The Board of Adjustment likewise faces retirements and will be at minimum membership with no alternates unless replacements are appointed.
