The Plan Commission unanimously recommended that the Common Council approve the City of Monroe's comprehensive-plan public participation plan, which lays out outreach methods and a schedule for the upcoming comprehensive-plan update. City Administrator Wendy asked the commissioners to recommend the participation plan to the council and described planned public-engagement tools, including an online survey, public outreach meetings, an open house planned for July and a public hearing after the draft plan is completed.
