Councilmember Mary Westphalen moved to enter a closed session at 6:00 P.M. citing Iowa Code Section 21.5(1)(c); the council returned to open session at 6:27 P.M. after a recorded unanimous vote to reconvene.

At the Nov. 3 special session, Councilmember Mary Westphalen moved that the council go into a closed session "per Iowa Code Section 21.5(1)(c)." Councilmember Mike Boeve seconded; a roll-call vote recorded ayes from Westphalen, Drew Sweeney, Mike Boeve and Ron Hengeveld and the motion carried 4-0.
