Board approves five-year busing contract with Davis Bus Lines
At a July 7 special meeting the Darlington Community School District board approved a contract awarding busing services to Davis Bus Lines from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2031, and waived certain bidding formalities including a $15,000 bid bond requirement.

Board President Bob Hermanson moved and Stauffacher seconded a motion "to accept the bid for busing services from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2031 from Davis Bus Lines and waive any minor informalities and any irregularities including the requirement to have a certified check or bid bond of $15,000 accompany each bid and the requirement to include two options pertaining to fuel." The board voted and the motion carried.
