Steven Prather outlines final updates to Columbia County’s Building A and campus
Columbia County’s facility services director said Building A and the surrounding campus are largely finished, highlighting a new central plaza, connected parking and traffic changes, three entrances off Ronald Reagan and added ADA parking; remaining landscaping and signage work should finish in the coming weeks.

Steven Prather, Columbia County’s facility services director, offered a final update on Building A and related campus work, saying the project began in August 2024 and is nearing completion. “We started this project back in August 2024, so almost right at the 2 year mark on finishing this project,” Prather said.
