Washington County commissioners adopted Proclamation 2025-544 to declare Sept. 17–23 Constitution Week in the county. Laura Miller of the Color Country Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, and representatives from the Sons of the American Revolution explained the historical origin of the observance and thanked the board for continuing the annual tradition.
