The Onawa City Council approved hiring Ricky LaGue Jr., effective Aug. 18, 2025, at a wage of $22.75 per hour, and adopted Resolution 2025.26 to fix salaries, wages and benefits for city employees through June 30, 2028, as amended. "Move by Kreger second by Fox to hire Ricky LaGue Jr effective August 18, 2025 in the sum of $22.75 per hour. Resolution 2025.26- A Resolution Fixing Salaries, Wages, and Benefits for City Employee August 18, 2025 through June 30, 2028, as Amended. Ayes: unanimous. Nays: none. Motion carried," the record states.
