Commissioners debated whether the county should issue coordinated press releases and centralize social-media efforts so residents receive the commission’s version of developments rather than secondhand narratives. Chair (S1) said proactive communications could help prevent misinformation: "So people know our version of it instead of quite seeing changed and twisted to work against whatever."
