County staff updated the court on a restart of the county’s internal strategic‑planning process on Aug. 5, 2026. The county previously executed an MOU with Oregon State University (OSU) Extension, completed a kickoff session and ran extensive surveys; OSU later lost an evaluator but remains willing to help with the next steps.
