The Pewitt CISD Board of Trustees voted to approve changes to the 2026–27 calendar during its Feb. 24 special meeting. Trustee Lora Vissering moved to approve the changes and Trustee Mark McCoy seconded; the motion passed with six ayes and one absence (Justin Green).
