The Perryton Independent School District Board of Trustees voted to approve the Wright Elementary Phase 3 construction plans during a special meeting on Feb. 9, 2026. The motion to approve, made by Trustee Duce Cooper and seconded by Trustee Jeff Schollenbarger, passed 5–0 with Shae Cunningham and Noon Vela absent.
