Flatonia ISD adopts TASB EFB(LOCAL) library-materials policy, changes local approval process
The board adopted TASB EFB(LOCAL) library-materials policy and agreed to forgo a School Library Advisory Council this year; new and donated titles must be posted online for 30 days before board approval, and materials will be coded for reading level access.

The Flatonia ISD Board of Trustees adopted the TASB-recommended local policy EFB(LOCAL) on library materials to meet the Sept. 1 compliance deadline. Jessica Morrill moved to adopt the updated local policy; Christina Manzano seconded the motion and the board approved it 7–0.
