The Ector ISD Board convened at 6:00 PM on Feb. 19, 2026, at the district administration building. Board President Jeff Morris opened the meeting and a roll call showed seven members present: Jonathon Akins, Shane Ball, Bobby Brownfield, Chris Cantrell, April Hill and Cody Vest (7 present). The meeting agenda identified executive-session interviews of superintendent candidates under item 2.A.
