Field Cross RID keeps $145 annual assessment after lower-than-expected construction costs

Jessica Magus, the county's special districts coordinator, presented the final adoption for the Field Cross Rural Improvement District. She said 42 properties benefit from the district, maintenance costs are estimated at $6,068 per year and each property will be assessed $145 annually — the maintenance amount was unchanged from the prior year.
