The Waterloo Local board voted to adopt the Center for Internet Security (CIS) Critical Security Controls Implementation Group 1 (IG1) as the district’s cybersecurity framework, noting the action is intended to align district practice with the requirements of House Bill 96. The superintendent presented the proposal and the board moved, seconded and voted in favor of adoption.
