A board member raised concerns about a new $35,000 line item for the town pavilion, saying the board had previously been told most costs were grant-funded and that the town had only spent about $17,000 to date. "I signed the checks. We have paid for everything in advance. We haven't gotten the grama yet," the member said, urging clarity on who authorized spending and why a recurring annual line would be necessary.
