During the July 28 session the board approved two rezoning measures after the planning commission recommended them for approval. Ben McInturf (5595 Chucky Pike) asked to rezone a parcel from A1/B4 to B3 to allow construction of a truck-repair shop and related setbacks; the planning commission recommended approval and the board voted in favor. The transcript records a motion by Commissioner Fitzgerald and a second by Commissioner Malone for Resolution 260702, followed by a recorded vote reported as 14 yes, 1 no.
