Software glitch delays NRB program rebate checks, staff says

County finance staff told the board that rebate checks for the NRB program could not be issued on schedule because the county’s software provider has an error in background rebate calculations. Staff said programming has escalated the issue to vendor engineers and that there is no estimated time of resolution; as a result, rebate checks for participants who paid in full cannot be produced until the calculations are corrected.
