Council considered a resolution to update the estimated yearly expense authorization for engineering materials testing for 2026–27 construction work. Staff reminded council that roughly a year earlier it had approved up to $150,000 per year for materials testing and said recent large projects (Burton and Prairie Parkway) and upcoming work on the public works building increase testing needs.
