Board approves faculty and K–12 student handbook updates, including graduation requirement changes
The Northern Valley board approved revisions to the faculty handbook (Aug. 11) and the K–12 student handbook (July 28), which include updated graduation requirements for 2028 graduates and personnel-related changes. Both approvals passed unanimously (Aug. 11 vote 7-0; July 28 vote 6-0, one absent).

Trustees approved two handbook updates across the July 28 and Aug. 11 meetings. At the July 28 meeting the board approved the K–12 student handbook with updated graduation requirements for students graduating in 2028 and later; the motion was made by Shanna Hammond and carried (Yea:6, Absent:1). On Aug. 11 the board approved changes to the faculty handbook that reflect personnel updates; that motion passed 7-0.
