Board approves CEFP annual update
The Wayne County Board of Education approved the Comprehensive Educational Facilities Plan (CEFP) annual update for 2025 on a unanimous vote. Board members said the update was approved by motion with no recorded dissent.

On Nov. 10 the Wayne County Board of Education approved the CEFP Annual Update by a motion from Johnita Jackson, seconded by Mark Ross; the motion passed 5–0. The minutes list the CEFP Annual Update as a separate action item under new business and record the unanimous approval.
