Manatee County approves multiple FDOT grants to expand seaport infrastructure
Commissioners unanimously approved several Florida Department of Transportation grant amendments totaling tens of millions for berth rehabilitation, container‑yard expansion and rail yard work at the Port of Manatee, officials said. Port staff emphasized none of the money comes from county general fund.
