Director Becker told the board Marion County has been experiencing ongoing mechanical and software issues with its vote-by-mail system and is employing a manual workaround to continue processing ballots. "We're still having some mechanical and software issues that we are working with our vendor on," Becker said, noting the workaround is functional but substantially more labor intensive for staff.
