Board approves MOU for Rio Grande County Museum partnership with Haefeli’s Honey Farm
The Board approved a revised memorandum of understanding between the Rio Grande County Museum and Haefeli’s Honey Farm, with county liability insurance to be added and the museum caboose remaining in place at the approved easement in Del Norte.

Lyndsie Ferrell, the Rio Grande County Museum Director, presented a memorandum of understanding with Haefeli’s Honey Farm, LLC and noted a minor revision after County Attorney Nancy Lake’s legal review. County Administrator William (Skip) Schoen said the county will add liability insurance to cover the arrangement and confirmed the Town of Del Norte had approved the easement so the museum’s caboose does not have to be moved.
