County staff recommend phased Springwood Ranch upgrades; board OKs sign removal check with partners
Public Works reported interim management of Springwood Ranch after the county’s Oct. 31, 2024 acquisition, recommended a phased approach to irrigation and pivot repairs (Phase 1 estimated $26,000), and the board directed staff to check partners’ views and remove the Springwood sign if partners have no objection.

Arden Thomas, Public Works, told the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners during a study session on April 14 that Public Works has been managing and planning operations at Springwood Ranch since the county acquired most of the property on Oct. 31, 2024.
