Staff outline switch to Point and Pay; $2-per-transaction fee proposed for Solid Waste

At the April 8 Kittitas County Solid Waste and Maintenance meeting, staff proposed moving the county to Point and Pay for credit card processing and discussed a proposed $2.00 flat fee per transaction for Solid Waste that would raise costs by about 20% for roughly 12,000 customers; staff will meet with the vendor to clarify fee structure and legal constraints.
