The Cheviot City Council on Dec. 16 adopted Ordinance 25-21 to establish a cybersecurity program for the city and declared it an emergency measure. Councilmember Lindsay Keeble introduced the ordinance and Council President Kerry Smyth seconded; the council moved to suspend the rules and then adopted the ordinance on a motion by Mr. Smyth, seconded by Mr. Borgmann. The meeting minutes indicate the motion carried by unanimous vote unless otherwise noted.
