The Cheviot City Council on Dec. 16 approved Ordinance 25-20 amending the 2025 annual budget appropriations, transferring funds and declaring an emergency. Councilmember David Voss introduced the ordinance and Kerry Smyth seconded; Law Director Kimberlee Rohr pointed out a typographical error in Section 1 involving misplaced commas and the clerk recorded corrected amounts before the council voted to suspend the rules and adopt the ordinance. The minutes indicate the motion carried by unanimous vote unless otherwise noted.
