Superintendent seeks updated safety assessment after bond work; SROs to help implement changes

Superintendent Mr Barry told the Phoenix‑Talent SD 4 board that the district will contract Secure Check LLC — led locally by Ernie Whitman — for an updated assessment of building safety and vulnerabilities following seismic upgrades at Talent Elementary and Talent Middle School. Mr Barry said the assessment will identify remaining vulnerabilities and recommend upgrades.
