Economic development director asks to approve summer youth payments, flags eCommunity membership deadline
Ashley Allen asked the commission to approve reimbursement payments for seven of eight summer youth program recipients and said Linn County risks losing its eCommunity membership if the board does not act by the Sept. 30 deadline; commissioners agreed to place the topic on the Aug. 31 agenda.

Ashley Allen, economic development, requested approval to reimburse seven of eight summer work program participants, saying payroll and W-9 paperwork for the seven were complete. "The 7 are complete," Allen said, and commissioners moved and approved payment for those recipients. The board asked Allen to follow up on the outstanding paperwork for the eighth recipient.
