At the May 28 special meeting, Councilmember Mike Boeve moved that the council go into closed session at 5:02 P.M. “per Iowa Code Section 21.5(1)(c),” a motion seconded by Mary Westphalen and approved on a 5-0 roll call. The council returned to open session at 6:05 P.M. on a motion by Ron Hengeveld, seconded by Greg Cotter, also approved 5-0.
