The Ford County Zoning Board voted to deny a conditional use permit and development plan for Garcia Recovery on Feb. 23, 2026, after neighbors raised concerns about safety and nuisance issues. The denial motion, made by Jolee Chris Coles and seconded by Aaron Gerdes, passed 3–0.
