Council members voted on Dec. 8 to amend city code language under Ordinance 739, section 4-9-6. Mayor Judith Nissula explained the need for the clarification; Council member Rachel Huckaby moved to waive the three readings and read the ordinance by title, a motion that passed. Huckaby then moved to adopt the change and request codification; that motion passed on roll call.
