Council schedules second public hearing on land-use code overhaul

Council members moved to schedule a second public hearing and to continue detailed red-line review of Ordinance 26O-03, the proposed consolidated land-use code and zoning map changes. Committee members described a large red-line document running hundreds of pages and said they preferred to post written changes for public review prior to a final vote. "We're going through it line by line," one council member said, noting the work is substantial and that another workshop was scheduled.
