Council appoints members to Historical Landmark Preservation Committee; one abstention

Council moved and approved a slate of appointments to the Checotah City Historical Landmark Preservation Committee. Appointments recorded in the minutes are: Buddy York (Vice‑Chairman, 1‑year term); Rodney Stover (Member, 1‑year term); Kathy Cox (Member, 2‑year term); Matthew Jennings (Secretary, 2‑year term); Todd Sisson (Member, 3‑year term); Bret Hayes (Chairman, 3‑year term); and Imogene Duvall (Non‑Voting Member, unexpired term). The motion carried with seven votes in favor; Councilman Jay Hayes abstained.
