Lauderdale County commissioners approved a new library board appointment (Kay Sherriff), reappointed three members, and elected a slate of notaries public at the Aug. 18 meeting; both measures passed by voice vote.

The Lauderdale County Legislative Body approved library board appointments on a motion by Commissioner Kaye Jordon and seconded by Commissioner Joe Pursell. The commission approved a new appointment (Kay Sherriff) and reappointed Bethany Blessinger, Leigh Ann Harmon-Gomer and April York by voice vote.
