During Old Business on May 7 the commission discussed the third draft of a BESS ordinance, including enforcement, plantings and setback provisions. Carroll Cohee moved and Jenee Harlow seconded to set a public hearing on June 4, 2026 for the BESS ordinance and fee-schedule amendments; the motion carried 8-0.
