The Newton County Drainage Board approved its proposed 2027 Drainage Board budget during its meeting on June 2, 2026, in the Commissioner’s Room of the Newton County Courthouse. Commissioner Steve Eilers moved to "approve the budget as presented," and Commissioner Rob Churchill seconded; the motion carried 3-0.
