Thomas County commissioners voted unanimously Aug. 25 to amend previously adopted tentative 2026 millage rates and accept a corrected schedule recommended by County Manager Mike Stephenson. The board approved the motion after Stephenson presented the corrected figures, which list the countywide rate as 2.024 and an incorporated rate of 0.316, with district and fire-district rates itemized for adoption.
