The Northside ISD Board of Trustees voted to deny a parent's request to place a student in the district's Gifted & Talented program and approved a review of GT procedures through the academic committee. "I move to deny placement in GT and approve the GT procedures review through the currently established process through the academic committee," Doctor Duran said when making the motion.
