Board hears progress reports on bond projects, athletic facilities and Legacy Oak Middle School
Capital projects director Lorraine Land updated trustees on 2021 and 2024 bond projects, including near-complete transportation building work, Legacy Oak Middle School progress, athletic turf and press-box renovations, upcoming playground solicitations, and coordination needs tied to FM 1100 expansion and wastewater hookups.

Lorraine Land, executive director of capital projects, briefed the board on multiple bond-funded and maintenance projects across the district. "Starting with the 2021 bond, this is 1 of the largest projects really that we have remaining as we work to, really, wind down some of the projects," she said, and presented photos and timeline notes for the transportation building, Legacy Oak Middle School, athletic improvements and priority maintenance that occurred over winter break.
