Public works staff reported that MDOT would not accept the contractor's revised unit price for rock work in a road and drainage contract. Because MDOT indicated it would approve guardrail work, staff proposed obtaining a revised settlement agreement limited to guardrails so that at least that portion can proceed while unit‑price negotiations continue for the rock portion.
