During 'Other Business' council members gave brief local updates. Council President Kerry Smyth said the new Thai restaurant "suffered a minor setback due to a roofing issue" and that "They hope to be open by the end of June." Ms. Stefanie Hawk asked if another façade improvement grant opportunity would be available; the response was that it is "probably, but not at this time." Mayor Sam Keller said the transfer of the former Cappels building is still in process and that the law director is working on the contract for the transfer of ownership.
