Highway supervisor: projects approved and will be funded from cash savings
Highway Supervisor Luke Masten reported that items E2–E7 appear substantiated and are funded from existing fund balances; he said work may begin in winter and is expected to finish by the end of next year; the council approved the items by voice vote.

Highway Supervisor Luke Masten appeared before the Johnson County Council Sept. 14 to present highway agenda items E2 through E7. Masten told the council that the remaining items on the agenda were his and confirmed that the appropriation amounts requested are funded through cash savings in existing fund balances.
