WSDOT seeks public input on SR 99 pre-design study emphasizing safety and multimodal access

WSDOT planners presented a pre‑design study for SR 99 that aims to identify a long‑term corridor vision and near‑term safety improvements, stressing a multimodal approach for pedestrians, bicyclists and transit users. Mariah Skeen, introduced as a WSDOT planning specialist, told the commission the effort is a study to determine what the community needs before design or construction begins.
