Councilmember Jeremiah Larsen reported that Lincoln County issued a Stage One fire restriction effective Aug. 19, 2025, prohibiting fireworks, open fires and controlled burns. The restrictions list specific exemptions, including campfires at residences or campsites within stone or metal rings with at least 15 feet of clearance, charcoal fires within enclosed grills, and certain uses of cutting torches or welders with 15 feet of clearance.
